I wish I could get my current jeans to get that perfect, worn-through-the-knee look. This is a low point in my adulthood when I am jealous of my wardrobe as a five-year-old.

Haha, oh Raina. This is adorable! And you're not the only one-- I get jealous of my five-year-old self all the time. I've got a Polaroid of me with the Power Rangers at some Fox trade show, and, well, fifteen years later I'm still enamored, haha. Even though that was me.
(You can also cheat and buy jeans that are specially made to look semi-weathered, but are twice as expensive!)
I'm frequently jealous of my childhood wardrobe. So many high water corduroys, so many novelty sweaters.
